What are the Features of eLITE?

The eLITE interface connects between the NANTeL Plateau LMS system and your corporate Plateau LMS environment.  The NANTeL system delivers plant access, RAD worker, and other supplemental training classes for employees and contractors.  

 

The NANTeL training history for each person from NANTeL needs to be sent to the PLMS for qualification and training evaluation.

 

A fully automated program to transfer data from NANTeL to Plateau has been developed.

 

This integration is managed via secure internet connections using the HTTPS protocol between the NANTeL web service and the Plateau Core API.

 

When the interface connects to the NANTeL web service, it downloads student and course training information history in an XML format.  After processing this XML data, it is passed to the Plateau APIs to maintain full data integrity and validity. 

 

The interface consists of two applications: Interface Client and Administrator Web Page

Interface Client

The interface client integrates with the Plateau Core API components and the NANTeL web service to transfer training history between the two applications. 

 

The interface generates e-mail messages when executing that shows which students and what course history information was loaded into the corporate Plateau LMS systems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Administrator Web Page

Requests refer to a site-specific application for UAA.

 

This optional administrator page, installed on WebLogic with Plateau, allows Plateau administrators to request training history updates for multiple users, without navigating through each student record in Plateau.  This page sets the Update from NANTeL flag for each entered student, thus allowing the interface client to retrieve the associated training history.
